Valdez Noor Todd & Doyle LLP, a San Francisco Bay Area boutique litigation firm specializing in employment, commercial, and securities litigation, is pleased to announce the expansion of its practice and name change to reflect the addition of a new partner.
With the addition of employment litigation partner Amy Todd-Gher, the firm has changed its name to Valdez Noor Todd & Doyle LLP. Amy, a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, brings thirteen years of experience representing both employers and employees in all aspects of employment law. Most recently, Amy served as Special Counsel in the Employment Law Group of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Prior to her role as Special Counsel, Amy was a Senior Staff Attorney with the National Center for Lesbian Rights. Valdez Noor Todd & Doyle is thrilled to have Amy, a friend and exceptional litigator, further deepen its employment litigation bench.
Last year, with the addition of Bahram Seyedin-Noor, the firm expanded its litigation services to include complex commercial disputes and securities litigation. Bahram, a former Wilson Sonsini litigation partner and Harvard Law graduate, represents companies, venture firms, directors, and officers in litigation matters, business negotiations, and SEC investigations.

With its name change, the firm also announces the departure of co-founding partner Marvin Dunson III. The firm congratulates Marvin, who has departed the firm to start his own employment law practice, where he will focus on representing individuals. The selection of "Rising Stars" is made by Law & Politics, the publisher of Super Lawyers and Rising Stars magazines throughout the U.S. The publication's attorney-led research team independently reviews the credentials of potential candidates and assigns points based on a set of defined evaluation criteria. Practicing lawyers are asked to nominate "the best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less."
